My legal career began in the judiciary, which gives me precise insight into how to approach a case before the court on your behalf. In addition to practicing law in Amsterdam, I serve as a deputy judge at the Midden-Nederland District Court.

Environmental law: Concerns decisions related to the physical living environment. I support you with environmental permits for construction, usage, deviations from the zoning plan (“zoning plan activity” and “BOPA”), and environmental regulations. The Environmental Act also covers pre-emptive rights and antecedent agreements.

Enforcement: Deals with compliance with laws and regulations. When rules are violated, authorities may impose sanctions, such as injunctions, administrative enforcement, or fines. Examples include operating, building, or using property without the required (environmental) permit. Our approach focuses on legalization when challenging enforcement decisions, enabling you to move forward.
