Background:
From a young age, I knew I wanted to become a lawyer. During my law studies at Utrecht University, I interned at CERTA Advocaten, where I discovered my passion for real estate law and eventually became an associate lawyer. In 2021, I completed the Grotius program in International and National Contract law. In my free time, I enjoy organizing outings, playing field hockey, working out, skiing, and socializing.
Areas of expertise:
Rental law: I primarily handle disputes between landlords and tenants in both commercial and residential leases. These disputes may involve issues such as defects, renovations, substitutions, subletting, termination and dissolution.
Contract law: I provide legal advice on the formation of agreements, including the assessment of contracts and general terms and conditions. I also handle disputes arising from agreements, such as when a party fails to fulfill its obligations, and explore the options available to the other party to recovering damages.
Construction law: The construction law cases I handle involve disputes between clients and architects or contractors, often concerning non-compliance with agreements in building contracts.
