“Doing what you say and say what you do.”
“Doing what you say and say what you do.”
Background:
I received my law degree from Maastricht University, Nijmegen University, and the University of Oslo. After completing my studies, I spent several months working at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) in Cambodia. In 2019, I began working as a lawyer at a medium-sized firm in the central Netherlands, specializing in corporate and contract law. In 2021, I joined Certa Advocaten to focus on insolvency law.
My approach is characterized by clear communication and the development of creative solutions for legal problems and disputes. I am also a member of the Association of Young Insolvency Lawyers (JIRA) and volunteer as a coach for young people.
I can assist you with matters that fall under:
Insolvency law: I am regularly appointed by the District Court of Midden-Nederland as a receiver. My role as a trustee also enables me to effectively assist parties facing bankruptcy or directors' liability. Additionally, I support parties trying to avert bankruptcy, for example, through WHOA proceedings or a sale.
Contract law: I assist parties involved in disputes regarding agreements. I am also engaged in drafting contracts and handling both negotiations and renegotiations.
Corporate law: I provide assistance with legal issues such as share purchases or sales, negotiations related to financing, shareholder disputes, and director liability.
