I was born and raised in Zwolle, the Netherlands. After completing my law degree in Groningen, I worked at a bank for several years. In 2011, I began working as a lawyer at CERTA, where I have been a partner since July 2022. I focus on corporate and bankruptcy law, and in 2021, I completed a specialization course in insolvency law. In my spare time I enjoy making music. I also enjoy sports: skiing is a favourite activity and I am always up for a game of hockey. Cooking and good food is a great passion.

Insolvency law: The court regularly appoints me as a trustee in bankruptcies including in the construction, healthcare, and hospitality industries. I also assist creditors, directors, suppliers or other stakeholders if they are (threatened to be) faced with bankruptcy..

General corporate law: Legal issues within companies, including restructuring, disputes relating to (commercial) contracts but also disputes between shareholders and directors and directors' liability.
