“With my open-minded approach, I take on your case with enthusiasm and ensure that the best possible outcome is achieved.”

Background:

My interest in administrative law stems from my enthusiasm for EU law. During my studies, I worked at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate. In many cases, I dealt not only with topics directly related to European law but also with Dutch administrative law. Administrative law is a broad legal field where topics can be closely intertwined with each other as well as with other areas of law—in other words, an interesting legal puzzle. As a side activity, I serve as a board member of the Dutch Young Bar Association. In my free time, I enjoy being on the water kitesurfing, sailing in my boat, or strumming on the guitar.

I can assist you with matters related to:

Administrative Law: This involves decisions made by government bodies that have legal consequences for your business. Examples include permits, housing, operations, events, terraces, and hospitality.

Environmental Law: This involves decisions related to the environment, such as those required for constructing a building. Examples include zoning plans/environmental plans and environmental permits for activities like construction, land use, deviations from zoning regulations, and environmental impact.

Subsidies: These involve government funds, usually with a social objective. An example is the wage cost compensation under the NOW scheme.

Enforcement: This involves a penalty or fine imposed by the government as a result of a violation. This could include a penalty, administrative enforcement, or an administrative fine related to the environment or supervision.

Debt Collection: I can guide the collection of a claim from A to Z. I can also assist with initiating legal proceedings, imposing a prejudgment attachment, and filing for bankruptcy. Together with the client, I determine the strategy that perfectly aligns with their needs. Even in cases where you disagree with a claim or when an attachment has been wrongfully imposed, I can provide advice and further assistance.
