In addition to my law degree, I have also attended the 'school of life,' which has given me a broad perspective on society. My experience extends beyond my role as a lawyer to include positions as a commissioner, disciplinary judge, and supervisor at the Law Clinic. I enjoy balancing my legal career with interests such as vintage cars, motorcycling, wakeboarding, skiing, scuba diving, cruising the canals, and sailing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Real estate law:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0This includes providing advice on the purchase or sale of commercial premises, dividing a building into apartment rights, or handling disputes with the Owners Association. It also involves assessing easements and addressing disputes related to the non-conformity of purchased property or failure to meet payment obligations.<\/p>\n

Tenancy law:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0This primarily addresses disputes between tenants and landlords in both commercial and residential leases. Issues can include defects, renovation, substitution, subletting, principal residence, termination, and dissolution.<\/p>\n

Liability law<\/strong>:<\/span> This covers both contractual and non-contractual liability. I provide advice and litigation services regarding liability issues, including whether there has been a breach or violation of standards. Other aspects include proceedings or advice on causation, the extent of damages, and comparative fault. Liability issues can be diverse, ranging from construction damage and earthquake claims to the unilateral termination of agreements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
